COVID-19 Service Update
24 March 2020
Good Shepherd is very aware of the impact that COVID-19 is having on many of our clients, as well as the direct service providers we work with. We are putting in place new measures to continue to support vulnerable people safely. We will continue to provide services in family violence, financial counselling, youth and family services.
In family violence, our services will provide face to face delivery to the most vulnerable. A risk assessment for COVID-19 will be conducted before any face to face counselling, social distancing will be enacted. Where possible, we will support clients facing family violence by telephone.
In financial counselling and support, we will transition clients to financial counselling by phone, where possible. Only the most vulnerable clients will be seen in person. A risk assessment for COVID-19 will be conducted before any face to face counselling, social distancing will be enacted.
